Even though I’m not posting everything everyday, I am keeping up with it.

 

As I enjoyed a vanilla latte before work I drew the Starbucks I was in. I need to work more on perspective.

The good news: it’s right next to work.

The bad news: it’s right next to work.

 

 

My friend introduced me to an online clothing store called Ruche. I LOVE IT! I love the style, I love the colors, I love the way it’s set up.

This drawing is from an ad on that website that I feel in love with. Very beautiful ethereal moment caught in time.

 

 

And to top it all off, I just found out I got a 66 out of 60 on my first chemistry test! GO ME!

Intuitive Backgrounds

I joined an art journal art class. I’ve always wanted to take a class like this even though some people think it’s silly. I think it’s really interesting and I’ve actually learned a lot of tricks, about adhesives, about papers, and other fun stuff. This is my first intuitive background. I tore up a bunch of different papers, grabbed them randomly and glued them on the pages. Then I got what I thought were complementing colors and mixed them with a glaze medium so it would be transparent.  I’m really not happy with how this background came out, but it was my first attempt at an intuitive background, so it needs to be posted.

I think it will be better when it’s actually a background and I can paint over it and write on it. We shall see.
