I recently joined an art group. I try to go once a week after work. Depends on my school load, but I’ve been able to go a few times already. Lots of fun people and a chance to draw. How can that not be an awesome night. Here are a few of my drawings from the past month.

I was trying a new pen, it’s going to take some getting used to. It’s a brush pen.
And I don’t know why I have so much trouble with lips…..

This model had the most beautiful hair!! It was such fun.

Sometimes a group can help tospur us on and it is fun.
Lips? I have experienced that if I draw the line that defines where the lips come together and a shorter line under the lower lip where it casts a shadow? I get a better representation. We, often define the eyes and lips too much. There was a long period of time that I did not draw the facial features on my models so I could concentrate on form. it helped me.
